|Tyler Phillips (March
Town) has been dropped as Captain for two matches and
banned from all cricket for one week for a Level One
offence whilst Captain.
James Biddle (Kimbolton) has been banned from all cricket for four weeks for a Level Two offence.
Dilshan Manamperi (Sawston & Babraham) has been banned from all cricket for two weeks for a Level One offence.
Spencer Saberton (March Town) has been banned from all cricket for one week for a Level One offence.
Following the CCA Captain's Meeting, the following were noted:
1. There is no minimum number of overs in the second innings to make a result; the 2017 CCA regs as revised still apply.
2. CCA Captains should agree the tolerances for leg side wides before the toss. The default is to be everything leg side is a wide, but Captains are free to agree something more lenient.
3. The paragraph that says "If weather delays the start of the match or intervenes during the first innings, two overs (one from each side) shall be deducted from the overall match total for each period of seven minutes lost. No account shall be taken of the first thirty minutes of the first delay or suspension of play" should be omitted from the handbook.
CCUSA meetings are held at 7.45 in the Combined Ex Services Club, Barnwell Drive (off Barnwell Road), Cambridge CB5 8UZ map link - there's a right turn immediately you enter Barnwell Drive - go past the Red Cross portacabin to the car park at the rear.
